On Friday, The Delhi Rail Metro Corporation issued a new norms. Allowed passengers to carry sealed bottles of alcohol on all lines. However drinking inside the train is strictly prohibited.
As per DMRC’s Latest Statement Now an individual can Carry upto 2 sealed bottles of Liquor in metro. Earlier this Provision was only allowed on New-Delhi- Airport Express line.
The decision comes after a Committee comprising CISF official and DMRC officials reviewed its earlier provision which allowed liquor on express line.
“Metro passengers are requested to maintain proper decorum while traveling. In case, any passenger is found behaving in an indecent manner under the influence of alcohol, suitable action shall be taken under the relevant provisions of law,” the DMRC said.
