The Government of Uttarakhand has Postponed “Char Dham Yatra” Due to Bad Weather Forecast en route to Kedarnath and Badrinath.

On Monday, Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami issued a Instruction in wake of heavy rain and snowfall during yatra. And directed officials to be on Alerts.

“The Government has stopped the char dham yatra due to bad weather conditions en route. Snowfall, rains and landslides have occurred at various places has been disrupted because of the same. We appeal to the travellers coming for Char Dham Yatra to continue their journey once the weather clears up,” said CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.

On Monday, The Indian meteorological centre Forecasted “heavy to very heavy rainfall” in next 24 hrs in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun & Tehri Garhwal Districts.

In past couple of days uttarakhand have witnessed incessant rain which led to floods, Landslides and snowafalls in some parts.

Following the Same, The Chief Minister Pushakar Singh Dhami Instructed the officials “ to Maintain mutual communication and co-ordination with all those districts, so that emergrncy situations can be dealth with in time”
